With great anticipation for Pudong, the international students embarked on a journey full of exploration and discovery. They first entered the hall of traditional Chinese medicine culture, visiting the Pudong Acupuncture Clinic, the Pudong Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic, and the Pudong New Area Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Each step allowed them to deeply appreciate the profound and unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine. Subsequently, they visited the Pudong Urban Planning and Public Art Center, where they learned about the development history and achievements of the Pudong Leading Area, and they are full of expectations for Pudong’s future plans.
At the China Art Museum, the international students were awed by the iconic “China Pavilion” from the Shanghai World Expo, as if stepping into the grand event over a decade ago with the theme “Better City, Better Life!” Their visits to venues such as the Shanghai Stock Exchange further enlightened them about the history of China’s financial and securities development, and they felt the efforts Pudong has made in establishing Shanghai as an international financial center of global significance.
Afterwards, the international students turned their attention to the forefront of technology and enterprise visits in Pudong. At the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Science and Technology Museum, they gained an in-depth understanding of the mysteries of chip manufacturing and the development trends of the integrated circuit industry, gaining a clearer understanding of the future direction of technology.
Subsequently, they visited the Wison R&D Center, touring this leading Chinese company in the energy and chemical services sector. From engineering services to marine engineering and new chemical materials, Wison’s global layout and digital strategic transformation left the international students in awe. They deeply felt the strong momentum of Chinese enterprises in technological innovation and international development.
Through these two ‘experience tours,’ international students not only gained a wealth of knowledge and valuable experiences but also developed a deeper understanding and appreciation of Pudong’s development.
